For this assignment I interviewed students about the upcoming Presidential election to see if they would be voting as well as their thoughts on the Presidential race itself.

This November will be one of the most important months of the year. This is because that is when our next President will be chosen.
It will be Central Connecticut State University student Megan Clabby’s first time voting. She was not old enough to vote in the last Presidential election. Clabby is registered as an Independent. Her reason as to why she chose that party is simple
“I didn’t want to choose a specific party because I don’t exactly know much about either,” she said. “I want [to do] more research on both parties before I can affiliate myself with one.”
Clabby says this upcoming election will matter more than the 2016 election because of how divided the nation has become in the last four years.
Ayesha Choudhery, another CCSU student is also registered as an Independent. However, she plans on voting Democratic. She says Pete Buttigieg has the best chance in facing off against President Trump.
“I think that he is well educated, he has experience, he knows how to talk,” she said. “I do believe we need to get this President off because he’s just such a traditionalist and he’s rude and he’s arrogant and ignorant as well.”
